Save the date and meet us at CAMX 2025 – the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo, North America’s largest and most comprehensive event for composites and advanced materials. Featuring an extensive education program and a vast exhibit hall filled with hundreds of manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers, CAMX offers an unmatched experience and exceptional networking opportunities. Visit our booth to discover new customer success stories and explore the advanced capabilities of sensXPERT Insight and sensXPERT FlexCure.

sensXPERT Insight

sensXPERT Insight is an in-mold sensor system designed to capture live data on curing progress and feed that back into a machine-learning-driven control loop. By continuously monitoring the resin or polymer inside the mold, it enables dynamic process adjustments. If the system detects a faster-than-expected reaction, the cycle can be shortened immediately; if the reaction is slower, time can be added. This refined approach saves time and ensures that each part meets exact quality requirements. Equally important, every parameter is logged to create a digital thread of the manufacturing process.

sensXPERT FlexCure

sensXPERT FlexCure is a contactless, high-frequency DEA solution targeting processes where embedding or touching the sensor is not feasible. Examples include filament winding, infusion, and continuous manufacturing processes. This sensor can penetrate up to 40 millimeters of material without direct contact, which opens the door to real-time monitoring in otherwise challenging scenarios, such as large composite structures or hydrogen pressure vessel production. FlexCure effectively removes the need to rely on “blind” cycle times by offering a precise, non-invasive window into ongoing curing reactions.
