Is this a role with your name on it?

As a working student (m/f/d) in the field of plastic material characterization you are the heartbeat in the creation of material data for our customers. You will use your hands-on skills to support our application engineers in the analysis of high-end polymers and composites. The evaluations you carry out are the
basis for the use of sensXPERT Digital Mold technology in the production environment of our
customers’ production environment.

New day…new challenge (all the great stuff you’ll get to do day-to-day)

  • You will be responsible for preparing samples from thermoplastic, thermoset and elastomer molding compounds and molded parts
  • You will also be responsible for the characterization of samples in DSC and DEA tests
  • You will support the laboratory organization and the team in the evaluation of test data
  • You prepare test results in tables, diagrams and presentation slides
  • You work out reaction and kinetic models

Essential qualifications

  • You are enrolled in a degree program in plastics technology / materials science / mechanical engineering / chemical engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Ideally, you have already completed your undergraduate studies
  • You have already gained initial experience in the processing and testing of plastics/composite materials as part of student work and/or internships
  • You are very familiar with MS Office and are also very confident in communicating in German and/or English
