Is this a role with your name on it?

As UX / UI Designer* (m/f/d) you are responsible for the common and unified UI/UX of our company. Together with the team you will work on delivering the best possible product for our customers in the plastics industry.

You are the one that makes us shine at every touchpoint of the customer journey; regardless of it being a  linkedIn Caroussel Post , our sensXPERT website or the actual Cloud Application our customers use. Not only do you know how to make us look good, visual storytelling is your game. Whenever you create something, people immediately understand the message you aim to bring across.

In doing so, you will ensure that all aspects of the digital user experience are optimized for usability, practicality, and exceptional visual design.

New day…new challenge (all the great stuff you’ll get to do day-to-day)

  • You are responsible for the User Centered Design process and help us identify, specify and address our user’s problems through innovative and creative design solutions
  • You design new features together with the product owner, create first MVPs and validate their potential with customers and colleagues
  • You follow current brand and visual guidelines and continuously enhance this by creating UI elements and layouts, style guides, graphics, icons and other assets for an appealing and clear user interface
  • You are comfortable using design tools such as sketches, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes
  • You iterate and improve the concepts through different test methods in exchange with colleagues and customers
  • You work within the development team to provide the designs and concepts and support the implementation in close contact
  • You will design and produce graphic content for marketing and campaign materials (print and digital) in close collaboration with the marketing team.

Essential qualifications

  • You have fun and experience in the user-centered conception and design of interactive web applications and have at least two years of relevant professional experience in the field of UX / UI web design
  • You know your way around common UI software tools such as Sketch, Figma and Adobe and quickly familiarize yourself with new software tools and methodologies
  • You have experience in the use of concepts and frameworks such as MaterialUI
  • Your portfolio speaks to you, your talent for UX design, your meticulous approach to work, and your understanding of UX design as a problem-solving process
  • You follow the trends in the industry and are aware of the current technical standards and restrictions on the web
  • You easily communicate the purpose of your designs and can align with different stakeholders
  • As part of the sensXPERT team, you are another advocate for the user and ensure consistent user-centric development in all steps
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken English
