Is this a role with your name on it?

  • You are part of a fast growing team of developers, hardware engineers and data scientist. Together, you are responsible for the continuous development and launch of our product and report to our R&D Director.
  • You will contribute on the development and improvement of a responsive web/desktop application by testing functionalities and proof the quality of the deliverables.
  • You will contribute actively to improve of the software development cycle, automation and reporting.
  • Because our product is connected to a hardware device and has a strong AI component, you will work closely together with the software, cloud and hardware engineers and data scientists of the R&D department.

New day…new challenge (all the great stuff you’ll get to do day-to-day)

  • Responsible for complete testing of the system, starting at sensor input, going through edge device and machine learning until cloud and retraining
  • Development of test scenarios, test plans and management and the creation of test data
  • Creation of automated testing along with the dev-teams and generate reports (test performance, user acceptance test)
  • Act as a first instance point of contact for other QAs and stakeholders such as Team Leads and Engineers responsible for automation and environments
  • Take ownership of current testing tools (such as Cypress) and provide recommendation and selection of tools and frameworks for testing
  • Collaborate and troubleshoot with dev-teams and automation engineers
  • Document your results and create reports

Essential qualifications

  • You have a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
  • You are proficient in the programming languages C# (bunit, xunit), Java and ideally also in Python and Javascript
  • You have a very good technical understanding and are interested in gathering knowledge in other fields (hardware, product, …)
  • You are a talented communicator and speak English fluently and German is a plus
  • You already have experience in agile software development (tradeoff possible with certifications, experience)
  • Understanding of CI/CD and ideally in Azure Devops
  • You have gained experience with cypress or similar
  • Certifications and training in testing
